I like how you can integrate Asana with Slack and other apps to make it easy to create and apply to tasks. I also like the collaboration feature so that everyone involved in that task can stay involved.
The only thing I'd like to see is being able to assign a task to more than one person.
Being able to quickly create and resolve tasks, meetings, and other To Dos. I find that I work more efficiently and I am more productive.
We have many clients we are constantly creating projects for. This tool is great for compiling my daily tasks as well as keeping track of all the things due at the moment.
I am sad that the free version does not allow custom organizing features. I would like the dashboard feature to be available on the premium level rather than the elite fancy expensive level. Or if there were an equivalent dashboard feature we could use for free would be great.
Its helps keep track of where projects are at without cluttering the task to do list. I like that I can add specific columns or sections to make the tasks appear like they are moving toward completion.
I really like how easy it is to stay organized on different projects and to simultaneously manage tasks - workwise or personal! Personally, I think that there are a lot more options than other management platforms over here, and it's very aesthetically pleasing
Sometimes I can get a little lost on bigger projects if there are too many tasks. I think that the person creating the tasks should be mindful and keep it simple - but that's more up to the manager rather than the platform itself!
The calendar overview option is really great because I can take a look and at one glance, see whether I have too many or too few tasks assigned for a particular day. I love that I can always be up to date with just one glance!
Great for creating and edititing tasks. You can then merge, duplicate, or delete the tasks you've made. You can manage your time and increase your productivity. You can integrate it with other tools you maybe use - Slack, Google, Chrome, etc.
I'd like if a few of the features that are now paid to be available for free, like the Goals feature.
It helps me keep track of my work tasks and assignments. Also it helps me with managing them and regulates my workflow.
Asana has an intuitive user experience and it takes pretty fast to engage new employees to learn the company's internal project management processes.
The Asana App is a little "clumsy" and sometimes the default messaging setting are to spamy.
We are using Asana in all company departments for internal and external project management. Also, it is very easy to adopt for SCRUM approach for our developer tools.
It makes project and task management a breeze and takes a lot of clutter out of email.
I wish there were more automated features when tasks are completed.
Task and project management
When I started using Asana, I was captivated by its unrivaled ability to keep everything structured and organized. The sleek and intuitive interface allows users to create and manage projects easily. The seamless combination of boards, lists, and timelines provides a comprehensive overview of tasks, deadlines, and progress, making it a breeze to navigate and prioritize projects effectively.
One aspect that occasionally hinders my workflow is converting subtasks into main tasks or fitting them under another task. It can become a tedious endeavor, especially when dealing with many subtasks. Streamlining this process or automating it in some way would greatly alleviate this minor frustration and enhance overall productivity.
Asana solves the problem of disorganized project management by providing a streamlined platform that allows for efficient task assignments, clear communication, and comprehensive project tracking. This benefits me by improving productivity, enhancing collaboration, and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- The learning curve was easy for all of my staff members. - Layout is awesome. Easy to separate everything by projects. - I can easily track the progress of my staff members. And know what else they are working on.
- I can't get all my staff to use it because they still have an aversion to task software. Wish it was designed in a way to win them over to using this critical tool.
I needed a way to easily collaborate on projects, see what my team was working on and organize task in project format. Asana does all of that! We don't have an office space so having Asana to help us communicate, work together and stay on track for our goals has been crucial.
It is simple as Genius and has an efficient, logical flow from up to down, making it very readable. It can build your workflows and makes it easy to discuss within the team, sending invites and reminders as scheduled. It works well with presentations and contract management tasks. It has exceptional board and kanban views and capabilities to set your working time schedule.
You need to use a separate time-tracking engine if you are service oriented. You mostly have to use different budget-controlling apps or ERP. Asana is good for decision flow but lacks analytical capabilities to be used within a single system for not using connectivity and integrations with different auth methods. WOuld be great to have reminders with use of AI - not to remind you, but you are telling to bot for updates on relevant tasks or scheduling and rescheduling with the use of RPA.
