BambooHR is a software that I enjoy logging into and keeping at a clicks-length throughout the day. It is simple, accurate, effective and accomplishes its job.

Payroll still feels like a different software package with an interface, but it is improving. BambooHR is missing a 'total compensation' feature still.

BambooHR provides a single source for Employee Files, Performance Mgmt, Benefits and Payroll. Our administrators and HR employees are able to save time and trust BambooHR.

Affordability, ease of use, mobile app! Being able to have onboarding completed online and staff able to track time in the mobile app. Has made our HR more efficient and effective. I can spend time on big-picture items. This product is affordable and offers more features than others we researched. The Applicant Tracking has increased our job applications received and allows us to use data to better plan future recruitments. We have a lot of employees who do not have their own designated workspace or computer, so the mobile app allows those employees to access and view important documents.

The payroll add-on is not as high-tech as the HRIS, and other products have offered more. And some items are required by the state with us that we cannot implement through the system.

Communications and posting of job positions has improved, increasing the total number of applications received and better informed communication. We are also able to track all employee information through the system, instead of paper. This also includes electronic signatures which saves time by prompting employees to complete required forms. On-boarding has been improved, so their first day is spent learning and relationship building instead of paperwork. We have seen a big improvement in communication and informed staff.

Single online source for all HR data. Easy to use. Employees love it!

Could use a bit more functionality in the payroll module around paid breaks.

Simple and effective online resource.

BambooHR is an excellent platform for managing personnel files and employee data with several available add-ons for additional features (like payroll, time tracking, performance management, etc.) so you're paying for just what you need and want. The platform is updated regularly and the tools support the latest research in the HR field. Also, the customer service is top notch - they're quick to respond and have always resolved issues and answered questions effectively.

I really have no issues - they just released some upgrades based on user requests that solved my minor complaints (increased customization with performance management and giving employees the ability to mark their own assigned trainings as complete).

BambooHR is streamlining most of the HR processes my team performs and everything is easily accessible in a digital format.

I like how easy Bamboo HR is easy to use. I appreciate the efficiency when using the website. It makes my job a whole lot easier. Compared to other websites, this is the most accessible website to use.

I don't dislike anything about Bamboo HR. The only thing I would critique is the report's section because sometimes it is inaccurate. I don't see any other flaws though Bamboo HR is excellent overall.

Bamboo HR is solving the many issues of the long and harsh process of onboarding new employees. I am way more productive with Bamboo HR. The business performance has gotten better as well.

I like how our company can keep all our employees' records in one platform. Automated onboarding and offboarding tasks streamlines our processes. This is the only HR Platform we have been happy with.

I don't like how you can see all of an employee's time off history on one screen. You have to go into each time off category to see each of the history.

BambooHR saves the administration team and our employees time. Everything we need to know about time off, holidays, benefits, etc. is in one place.

Bamboo HR puts everything you need in one place! So simple to use for both admin and team members. We use all the features -- time clock, payroll, benefits, and more! We track required training hours and store the certificates in the employee file. We have people that now work remotely so having everything in one place on a web-based platform has been a game changer!

I cannot think of any downsides of BambooHR. I would like to see them add a customizable staff scheduling feature, and I'd also like to see more cutomizable access levels. Right now, some things are only allowed for "full admin users," but my situation doesn't warrant full admin user status -- I'd like to be able to give bits and pieces of full admin status to different individuals.

Solving the problem of tracking everything HR! We develop our hiring ads, track applicants and hire from one page. Then they automatically transfer into the HR side for us and seamlessly flow into onboarding. We track onboarding progress and set reminders to ensure everything is completed on time. Employees clock in/out, an administrator approves timesheets, and then I process payroll with all this data in one place and so easy to manage! I cannot say enough good things about having everything in one spot and working so well together!

Bamboo has helped our organization consolidate the hiring process and time reporting process saving us time. What BambooHR has done is incredible.

Currently there are no dislikes about BambooHR.

BambooHR has streamlined our hiring process, having applicants apply directly on BambooHR. It keeps track of applicants and their status in the process of interviewing. We also use it for time reporting and staff seems to like it a lot.

I really like the way BambooHR automates our HRMS needs. From initial on-boarding, to employee management, to performance assessment processes, to everything that we were able to pull out of paper files....It goes on and on. Not hard for a smaller company that does not have full time HR/payroll needs. And if you do have a staffed HR function, they will thank you for making their lives much easier.

There is nothing I dislike about BambooHR. The Bamboo team continues to develop feature and functionality that adds value to the solution. And they do it with fair pricing that is very transparent.

HRMS improvements in general

BambooHR makes it much easier and less time consuming to do most of the administrative work of HR. The reports are super easy to pull, create and manipulate if needed to get the information I need to make informed decisions and presentations. Customization is as easy as a call or email to the support team, and they have always been great to work with. Finally, I also like that BambooHR listens to my feedback and uses it to make changes and updates that are super impactful.

I would love to see full benefits enrollment in BambooHR. Right now there is the ability to track enrollments but employees can't complete the open enrollment process without including pdf documents for signatures, so it's not a great solution for us for that right now.

The Applicant Tracking system is easy to use and posts to many job boards, hiring and onboarding workflows save a number of manual processes. Performance management has also saved us a huge amount of time as we used to do it using paper forms. The ability to bring almost everything in to BambooHR has been a huge time saver and provides greater clarity to the whole team.
