I very much like how the conversations with website visitors are in a very user-friendly type of chat interface like I'm used to from social media, while still having the power to tag teammates, assign tasks, and add details on the contact. I also like that it can handle requests that come in via email and Facebook Messenger in addition to our on-site chat widget.
I noticed that requests coming in via email do not always preserve special characters (like accented characters and such). This would be nice to fix but does not prevent us from using the feature.
We use it for a website chat widget, for prompting visitors when they've spent a while on our pricing page to join us in a chat, and as a way to deal with one of our shared inboxes. We are still using Zendesk for our customer support inbox and for our knowledge base but I'm leaning heavily towards replacing both of those completely with Gist which will give us a one-stop shop for all our shared inboxes, chats, and knowledge base.
Gist is evolving by every day and new features are added not because it counts but instead these features are well researched and spoke about by the community. I am very impressed and satisfied so far.
So far I haven't found anything that I dislike.
Being able to communicate with all my leads under one umbrella is an absolute pleasure. Email automations and behavioral approach saved a great deal of time. And yes the latest Twitter integration is amazing.
Love the wide variety of tools in the app that helps my business in many ways. Love the chat feature, bots, marketing automation and booking meetings the most!
I wish we could choose a custom icon for chat widget as well as to have a visual builder for chatbots.
Communicating with clients, and making it easy for them to find knowledgebase articles. Also, love automation and insights that help me learn and keep data about clients.
I love how easy and quick it is to use. There's a lot of great functionality aswell
There was a brief learning curve to implmenting the automation but they've seemed to work out the kinks.

Does not have templates for email. Wish they have a service where a professional could set up the chat bot.

We've used the webchat feature to streamline our inbound marketing & answer customer-service queries. Been fantastic! We can't wait to dive in more to some of the other tools they offer.

The Gist Smartphone App whilst displaying a numeric Notification does not Sound an audible alarm and enquiries are often missed. An option to select a notification sound would be useful.

There are a lot of different ways to do things. I love how I can tag users based on their actions and send out an email blast or even a drip campaign to only people with a specific tag
It is hard to know where to start because there is so much to it and as far as I can tell there isn't a "getting started guide" to help new people who may be overwhelmed.
Mainly they're who I use to send out emails and I'm working in other integrations with other services that are supported to build out what I can do with their automation software. I hope to really be able to identify what my traffics specific interests are and really go deep with it to get them what they want.
Gist makes it super easy for my website visitors to chat with my team live and their mobile app is perfect for connecting on the go!
There aren't any negatives that I've come across yet. Gist works perfectly for what we use it for.
Gist allows my website visitors to get on demand information, from a live person right when they're looking for it. That's 10X better than having a plain ole contact form will ever be!
