**[inFlow Inventory](https://findstack.com/go/inflow-inventory) lists serial number tracking as an add-on on Entrepreneur, on Small Business, and on Mid-Size at €599 a month. Only Enterprise includes it.** For inventory software, generating and tracking a serial per unique unit is core functionality rather than a specialism — and it is the one row in inFlow's comparison table that stays paid three tiers deep. API access and lot numbers behave similarly, both add-ons until Mid-Size.

- **What it is**: An [inventory control](https://findstack.com/software/inventory-control) and order management system for wholesale, distribution and field service.
- **Best for**: Small distributors who can live within the order allowances, or Mid-Size buyers who need the full feature set.
- **Pricing**: Entrepreneur €99, Small Business €299, Mid-Size €599 per month billed annually; Enterprise quoted. Verified July 2026.
- **The honest catch**: Entrepreneur includes 1,200 sales orders a year — 100 a month.

## What Is inFlow Inventory?

inFlow is an inventory and order management platform covering stock across locations, purchase orders, picking, packing and shipping from any device, and 95-plus integrations. Alongside it sit **inFlow Stockroom** (an optional add-on from €79 a month) and inFlow's own **Smart Scanner and Label Printer** hardware, with each plan carrying a hardware credit — $250, $500 and $1,000 across the three published tiers.

The meters are **team members** and **sales orders per year**, with integrations and inventory locations as secondary limits. Overage is priced openly: exceed your order allowance and "you'll simply pay 0.20 EUR for each extra order."

## How inFlow Inventory Works

- **Sales orders per year is the primary meter** — 1,200, then 12,000, then unlimited.
- **Overage costs €0.20 per extra order**, published.
- **Team members are capped** at 2, 5, 10 and 25.
- **Serial numbers stay an add-on** through Mid-Size.
- **Onboarding is a required €399 one-time cost** above the entry tier.
- **Each plan carries a hardware credit** of $250 to $1,000.

What actually decides your plan:

- **Serial numbers cost extra on three of four tiers.** The comparison table marks them "Add-on" for Entrepreneur, Small Business and Mid-Size, with only Enterprise including them. A distributor tracking warranties or recalls needs serials, and on a €599-a-month plan having to buy them separately is the least expected line in the table.
- **1,200 orders a year is 100 a month.** inFlow states the monthly equivalent itself. For a wholesale or distribution business that is very small, so most real users of Entrepreneur will be paying overage from early on.
- **The overage rate is cheap and published, which changes the maths.** At €0.20 per extra order, Entrepreneur plus overage stays below Small Business's €299 until roughly **1,100 orders a month** — meaning on order volume alone the entry plan is competitive far past its stated allowance. What forces the upgrade instead is team members (2 versus 5), integrations (1 versus 3) and inventory locations (1 with no sublocations versus unlimited).
- **The single-location limit is the sharpest Entrepreneur constraint.** One location and no sublocations means no bin or shelf breakdown at all. Any warehouse that needs to know where in the building something sits has outgrown the plan regardless of order volume.
- **Onboarding is a required €399 one-time cost above the entry tier.** The comparison row shows "Optional" against Entrepreneur and "Required one-time cost, 399 EUR" against the tiers above. A promotional code was live at capture offering it free, so ask whether that still applies — and budget it if not.
- **Hardware credits are real money back.** $250, $500 and $1,000 against inFlow's Smart Scanner and Label Printer. On the Mid-Size plan that offsets nearly two months of subscription if you need the hardware anyway.

## Who Should Use inFlow Inventory

- **Small distributors and wholesalers.** The clearest case, and the audience inFlow names.
- **Field service businesses.** Mobile pick, pack and ship from any device.
- **Companies needing a B2B portal.** Showroom Pro arrives at Mid-Size.
- **Businesses buying scanning hardware.** The credits materially offset the subscription.

It fits poorly for anyone needing serial tracking below Enterprise without paying extra; for multi-location operations on the entry plan, which allows one location with no sublocations; and for teams larger than the seat caps, which are hard limits rather than metered.

## Honest Pros and Cons

- **Unlimited products** on all plans.
- **95-plus integrations**, with EasyPost and inFlow Pay not counting toward the limit.
- **Lot numbers are free during beta**, per inFlow's own note.

### Limitations

- **Serial numbers are an add-on through Mid-Size** at €599.
- **Entrepreneur includes 100 orders a month.**
- **One location and no sublocations** on the entry plan.
- **API access requires Mid-Size** or an add-on purchase.
- **A required €399 onboarding fee** above the entry tier.
- **Team members are hard-capped** at 2, 5, 10 and 25.

## The Verdict

inFlow is a capable, well-scoped inventory system for small distributors, and it does two commercially honest things that stand out. **Overage is published at €0.20 per extra sales order** rather than being a surprise or a negotiation, and every plan carries a **hardware credit of $250 to $1,000** against inFlow's own scanners and printers — which for a warehouse buying that kit anyway is a genuine offset rather than a token.

The published overage also changes how you should read the entry tier. **Entrepreneur includes 1,200 sales orders a year, which inFlow itself notes is 100 a month** — small for a distribution business. But at €0.20 an order, Entrepreneur plus overage stays cheaper than Small Business's €299 until around **1,100 orders a month**, so order volume alone rarely forces the upgrade. What does force it is the rest of the row: **two team members, one integration, and one inventory location with no sublocations.** That last one is the real ceiling — a warehouse that needs bin or shelf locations has outgrown Entrepreneur on day one, whatever it ships.

Then there is the line worth raising before signing. **Serial numbers are marked "Add-on" on Entrepreneur, Small Business and Mid-Size** — only Enterprise includes them. Serial tracking is not an exotic requirement in inventory software; it is how warranties, recalls and high-value goods are managed. Finding it still chargeable on a €599-a-month plan is the least intuitive thing in the table, and it sits alongside a **required €399 onboarding fee** above the entry tier. A promotional code waiving that onboarding was live when we captured the page, so ask whether it still stands.

## FAQ

### How much does inFlow Inventory cost?

On the euro price list captured July 2026 with annual billing: Entrepreneur €99 per month, Small Business €299, and Mid-Size €599, with Enterprise quoted. Those include 2, 5, 10 and 25 team members respectively. Extra sales orders beyond your allowance cost €0.20 each, and an onboarding package costs €399 one-time, marked required above the entry tier.

### How many orders does inFlow include?

Entrepreneur includes 1,200 sales orders a year, which inFlow states is 100 a month. Small Business includes 12,000 a year, or 1,000 a month, and Mid-Size and Enterprise are unlimited. Purchase orders are unlimited on every plan. Exceeding the sales order allowance costs €0.20 per extra order rather than forcing an upgrade.

### Does inFlow Inventory include serial number tracking?

Only on Enterprise. The comparison table marks serial numbers as an add-on on Entrepreneur, Small Business and Mid-Size — so even the €599 plan requires buying them separately. Lot numbers and API access are also add-ons on the two cheapest tiers, though both are included from Mid-Size upward. Lot numbers are currently free during their beta period.

### Is inFlow's onboarding fee mandatory?

Above the entry tier, yes. The comparison row shows the onboarding package as "Optional" for Entrepreneur and "Required one-time cost, 399 EUR" for the tiers above it. At the time of capture inFlow was running a promotion offering the onboarding package free with a discount code, so it is worth confirming whether that offer still applies before budgeting the €399.

### When should I upgrade from inFlow Entrepreneur?

Rarely because of orders — at €0.20 overage, Entrepreneur stays cheaper than Small Business until about 1,100 orders a month. The binding limits are elsewhere: two team members, one integration, and a single inventory location with no sublocations. If you need bin or shelf-level tracking, a third team member, or a second integration, Small Business at €299 is the step.
