My primary use for Semrush is for keyword research, and I have yet to find even a comparable service, let alone a better one. I love how easy it is to use and it even helps me generate more ideas. The customer support is also amazing, from the initial onboarding and customer success staff, to how responsive and friendly they are for any issue or question I may have.

The only downside is the cost -- the number of features is incredible, but I only have the time (and knowledge!) to use a few of them, so I feel I am only scratching the surface of what it can do. Long term this is actually an upside, but in the short term when I am very budget-conscious, I wish there was a "lite" version that was more affordable that only had the features I use (such as keyword research).

I wish there were more options to manipulate all of their data with filtering, time ranges, etc. so I could get more lost in the sauce. These may just be paid features that our team doesn't have. Some of my teammates have had a harder time because there is SO MUCH you can get into.

I have used others such as Moz, Ahrefs, and more and SEMrush always seems to beat them in features and pricing. I love they are constantly adding new features and for any issues I've had the customer support team has always gotten back to me promptly and with very detailed answers specific to my problems.

Sometimes the UX can be redundant or things are not where you would most expect them to be. They could sometimes do better at drawing more attention to new product features. There have been occasions when new features roll out and there's no mention anywhere, you just stumble upon it.

It offers a lot of different products within one software and there are a ton I don't even utilize. I love their new app store and how they are creating their own and working with third parties to offer even more options. They are expanding their AI offerings, which is very important in SEO and content marketing right now.
