The user interface is clean and fairly simple.
The inability to delete things just seems like such an odd feature. You end up with multiple things labeled "do not use" if it wasn't set up correctly the first time because you can't go back and delete them.
Marketing automation, email campaigns, landing pages
My favorite thing about Sugar Market is that it is user friendly.
I dislike that it is not as robust as I would like it to be.
I'm solving connection issues that I previously experienced with my last automation platform, Marketo. Market connects directly to CRM which is nice.
This platform has proved to be a valuable asset. It seamlessly syncs our CRM data with our email marketing in a way we have been unable to previously. This provides a faster response than we had previously, making our touchpoints much more effective.
Navigation can take a minute to get used to, and while it grows on you bringing new users onboard takes some time. Support can take a day or two to get back to us when we have unorthodox requests. Thankfully both are minor, negligible issues.
The sync with our CRM is the most important issue. Previously we had time delays, issues with consistency, and hurdles over the size of the data moving between the two platforms. Bringing everything under the same flag seems to make things work nice and smooth.
I like the drag and drop features. Easy to navigate editor. The A/B testing email set up is really nice. Uploading marketing lists are pretty quick and easy.
Sometimes my emails will not look the same in the test email as they do in the editor. Data seems to come back inaccurate within the reports. The report will show over 100 clicks to the website while only a handful of them actually happened. We contacted support and were told thing is due to them inflating our data. Therefore, we have to manually sift through the data to find accurate information.
We mainly use Salesfusion for brand awareness purposes and client retention with release notes and newsletters.
Ability to use old campaigns as a starting point for new ones. Can be created quickly.
You can't resend a campaign to additional people. You have to recreate it and send. Sometimes the code is wonky. Takes some time to figure out why things don't work like you think they would!
Marketing campaign design and uniformity to newsletters. Great statistics and nice to have unsubscribed, and failed email addresses so we can update them in CRM.
I thought the implementation was smooth. Their implementation team seemed to be knowledgeable and provided the proper support. Setting up the product on our end was flawless. It works with on-premise CRM as well as cloud base.
I am not a huge fan of their support team. We've had repeated issues with syncing between our on-premise CRM and the Salesfusion cloud. Our system is configured properly and up-to-date on the latest patches. However, their team continues to state that our server is causing the failures.
We've always had challenges with users sending mass emails from their local Outlook email software. This is no longer the case since the user can now upload their lists to Salesfusions and have them be sent on their behalf. It's reduced the probability of our domain being blacklisted unnecessarily.
For my needs the integration with lead capture forms is the most useful aspect. I can track leads in analytics and view the customer life cycle in Sugar.
The UI is dated. I'm surprised more improvements have not been made. It is not entry level software and the filtering usability for leads is terrible.
Lead to sales tracking.

It integrates with Saleslogix. Is much better than the older version.
Hard to use. Email editor is not robust - very basic and a bit cumbersome to manage. Metrics are basic unless you license additional features.
We email marketing executed and that's it.
The customer support and client advocacy is unmatched in the marketing automation industry. They go out of their way to hear new ideas and continue to thrive and make the system better constantly.
The features can be very buggy. I have many issues with the email builder on a day-to-day basis. I have issues with the reports (custom reports are a nightmare), the biggest pain point for me is the lack of consistency in the features working as they should and then those issues are not able to be replicated with IT support.
The A/B testing functionality is helping to make testing smoother and easier.
