It's easy to use for people wanting to create a website but don't have the coding knowledge required to create a site from scratch.

You're more limited on how you create your site opposed to if you know how to code.

I've used it for my personal portfolio and not my company that I work for.

It's free, easy to use and allows you to use different templates

There are no many apps and implementations, it gets basic over time

It's good when you are on a short budget, attractive design and easy to manage

Best website software hands down especially if you are a new start up business and have no experience building a website. Great price too for the software to build + monthly hosting and bandwidth. Easy interface for users and lots of different options to customize your site. Lots of savvy and professional templates to choose. Can include video, chat forum, create events and collect online RSVP's, even able to create a member side with individual member login and of course a mobile app.

At this time there is nothing that I dislike about this program

Business problem solved is not having to pay separate fees for a web service...everything is rolled up into one monthly service. WIX gives it to you all under one roof for a low cost.

Wix provides a multitude of templates but lets you adjust them however you would like. It's great not to be constricted to a limited layout or design, but at the same time very helpful to have a template as a basis for your website.

The design is limited to a degree. Without a heavy knowledge of coding/web design you can only do so much. But I guess that is to be expected with a template-based site like this one.

Wix allows individual employees to create personal branding sites. It's even free to have your site up and running, which is great especially if you want to only use it for a short amount of time.

Wix seriously makes it easy for you. Pick a design/layout and starting editing it to make it your own. Easy desktop and mobile previews as well.

Not being able to create a photo gallery all at once that you can keep using.

I'm not really solving any problems, it's just easy to use. There are a lot of benefits when working with Wix. User friendly, easy to edit , easy to navigate, save and preview.

The user interface is very easy to use. A good option for first time website operators.

I use Wix to display our site in a modern fashion. I realized that Wix has very modern templates and makes it easy!

Drag and drop functionality - very convenient to use. Over 500 handy and pre-populated templates - much better than elsewhere.

Even though there is a huge collection of templates, it's a bit difficult to customize them the way I want to. Ads are quite visiblle - a bit more than I expected. Few struggles with e-commerce tools in the past.

We used some of the pre-design templates and it still works pretty well.

As with any free version, there are some things you can't do, and the company's logo appears on your website.

I like the versatility and ease of use of Wix. I am able to change content and add pages with very little work.

We had trouble getting out calendar to maintain integrity at first, although we did find a solution.

We publish a monthly calendar and new products we offer on our website. Wix gives us a relatively easy platform that I can use even thought I don't have much website experience.

Wix has a lot of features in its free version that most other website creators only include in their premium or paid versions. Wix has a ton of fun graphics, fonts, and backgrounds preloaded which is a huge time saver.

If you choose to use the free version, your website will have a very large and quite obnoxious banner at the bottom advertising Wix. This is much more distracting than competitors ads.

Creating a website for the school library. I needed a place to put a lot of different types of media and did not want to be limited with storage space or number of web pages.

The templates are very helpful for setting up a website as well as getting ideas. Once you start building your website it is very customizable.

The pricing seemed a bit unclear when starting off, wasn't exactly sure how the pricing worked once the site was up and running.

Wix is very easy to get up and running. Doesn't take much effort to get started, and you don't require previous knowledge of web design to get started. Within a couple of minutes, you can get a professional-looking website with the usage of the many templates they offer.

So far in my time I haven't found a direct downside of using WIx. Potentially when having to upload multiple forms of media to add to the website it could be a bit more streamlined.

The ease of production and being able to spend our time more efficiently, as we don't have a steep learning curve of understanding how to get it running in the first place.

The most important thing about using Wix is that it is not a complex page; you know how to navigate the internet and have some experience in design; after that, everything there would be easy since there are no code-related things.

I wouldn't say I like the way it's done at all is like a copy of WordPress, but without coding also, the templates are elementary, and some things are limited to just what they can offer, not letting you custom much.

I realized that some articles or mini blog pages are easy to implement there, but further than that is not possible. Also, you can write your biography and do stuff.

Adding elements can be a little clunky as they're not known the same in every platform. Searching for them isn't easy.

I'm usually the one fixing or completing what someone else has started. The benefit has been that it isn't difficult to pick up from where they left off.
